Our pillows are made from 100% natural Talalay latex with an organic cotton cover. Available in a variety of heights and firmnesses, they are a great option for a wide range of sleeping styles. Our current options are listed below.

Pillow Types

King Size:

  • Low Profile, Soft
  • High Profile, Medium 
  • Shredded High Profile, Medium-Firm ( comes in an organic cotton barrier cover, no external case)

Queen Size:

  • Low Profile, Medium-Soft (shortened: 25" across, comes in an organic cotton muslin cover, no external case)
  • High Profile, Medium
  • Shredded High Profile, Medium-Firm (shortened: 25" across, comes in an organic cotton barrier cover, no external case)

      *Please note we can not accommodate returns or exchanges for pillows. Certain pillow styles will come with an organic cotton muslin cover and appear different than the one pictured.

      Materials

      Natural Talalay Latex is rubber from the rubber tree. It is free of chemicals and synthetic add-ins and comes in different densities to choose from.

      Care

      Unless specifically mentioned above, most of our pillows come with a removable, washable case. Some pillows are wrapped just in organic cotton muslin or barrier fabric (cannot be removed). In the case of the removable cover, it can be washed in the washing machine with similar colour items using warm water and a mild detergent. Tumble dry using low heat. Do not bleach. 

      Our pillows themselves do not require washing, but can be spot cleaned with warm water and a mild soap. After spot cleaning, rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly at room temperature, away from heat and light. Never place in a machine washer or dryer.

      The pillow dimensions are 16 inches by 33 inches instead of 20 by 36.
      Too small for king pillowcase .

      Very High Quality Latex Pillows

      When I was looking for new Talalay Latex pillows for our family, I saw many on Amazon for $100 or less, I knew from the high quality ones we had prior that at that price point something was amiss. As soon as I saw the pillows on Black Sheep website, with the choices of firmness and loft I knew this was a store that understood this product. We ordered King Size soft/low loft pillows, we are very happy with them in terms of quality and packaging and delivery. I would say perhaps they are a touch on the too soft side but still overall we are super happy.

      At first I thought that $160 was a ridiculous price for a pillow. After sleeping on it once I cherish this pillow. It is worth its weight in gold and I don’t know how I ever lived without.
