Memory foam is heat-activated so it takes time to compress as you lay down, causing you to slowly sink into the material. Natural latex does not need heat to compress and it has natural pushback, meaning there's no crater effect or a sensation of sleeping "in" the mattress.

Natural latex is durable, known for its ability to keep its original shape and springiness. It's also relatively odourless compared to memory foam, although some people may notice a hint of fresh rubber smell when they first get it.
