This past fall, we were honored to host The Campaign for Wool’s 10th Anniversary Reception at our Toronto showroom—a milestone celebration highlighting wool’s enduring impact in Canada and beyond.

The event brought together key advocates, local creators, and supporters, all celebrating the beauty, versatility, and importance of Canadian wool.

The Story of Canadian Wool

To mark the occasion, The Campaign for Wool shared a powerful video showcasing the full journey of wool—starting from Canadian farms and shepherds who produce this natural, renewable material, to the artisans and businesses transforming it into sustainable, everyday products. The film underscores wool’s role in addressing environmental challenges, highlighting its biodegradable, non-toxic qualities and timeless versatility. 

Guests also heard inspiring words from The Hon. Edith Dumont, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, who delivered a speech on behalf of His Majesty King Charles III, Founder and Patron of The Campaign for Wool. Her remarks emphasized wool’s bright future within Canadian industries and its potential to drive meaningful change for sustainability.
