Our Organic Cotton Waterproof Protector is 100% waterproof preventing any accidents from making their way to the mattress. It fits like a fitted sheet on top of the mattress and is made from 100% organic cotton fabric and a waterproof lamination made from a non-hazardous, phthalates-free polyurethane.
We recommend this option if there's a high probability of an accident occurring, or for anyone with a desire for full protection from stain and spill damage to the mattress. Please note, as this product is 100% waterproof, it does not offer the same degree of breathability as our water resistant wool protector.

We purchased a Black Sheep mattress for our 5 yr. old son a couple years ago and purchased an organic cotton protector. We like how Black Sheep makes clean products and having an option for a protector that doesn't contain chemicals or off gassing was high on our list. We've had the product for a while now and it has been great. Does what it's intended for to protect against light spills and accidents. It has held up with washing and we still use it today.
Would recommend for someone looking at a healthy option for mattress protection.
